Morgan, Louise R. and Birtwistle’s ‘An investigation of young fashion consumer’s disposal habits’ identifies consumers’ lack of understanding of how this behaviour affects the environment and suggests ways of how fashion consumption could become more sustainable.
Fashion does not have to be fast or fast-changing. It can recycled, reused and made to state different meanings. The audience targeted by these posters are young-adults and teenagers that tend to be fashionable and trendy. In the society today, young-adults follow the fast-changing trend of fashion, although they can reuse clothes from their parents to create new fashion statements.
